Summer Isn't Over Yet

Before everybody starts talking about hoodies, bonfires, and opening day, we’ve still got some summer left.

Some weekends need filling. Maybe that means putting the boat in early and staying out until the sun disappears. Maybe it’s throwing a rod in the truck and finding somewhere to fish after work. Maybe it’s sitting on the porch, working around the property, heading to the ballfield, or taking the long way home because there’s no reason to rush.

You don’t need a complicated plan. Sometimes all you need is somewhere to go and a few good people to go with you. That’s the kind of summer we like.

That's really what NUTHIN FANCY has always meant. Not that you don't care about quality. Not that you don't work hard for what you have.

It means you don't need everything to be complicated to enjoy it. Give us a good fishing hole. A boat that runs. A truck with some gas in it. A porch with somewhere to sit. A Saturday with nowhere important to be. A few friends. Maybe a dog running around somewhere. That's plenty.

There’s a lot of noise out there telling you that you need more — more stuff, bigger plans, better pictures, somewhere more impressive to be.

We’re good. We'll take the river. We'll take the woods. We'll take the back porch. We'll take the places where nobody cares what you're wearing as long as you showed up.

From One Season to the Next

So we're not rushing summer out the door. There are still casts to make, miles to put on the boat, and sunsets worth sticking around for. But we're ready for what's next, too. Cooler weather. Hunting season. Football. Bonfires. Hoodies.

Fall weekends that start before daylight and somehow don't end until long after dark.
